Grant’s Triple Wood – Original 450 CL 40%

Blended Scotch Whisky

Many whiskeys get their flavor from just one cask, but Grant’s Triple Wood is aged in three different types of wood: Virgin Oak casks contribute a spicy robustness, American Oak provides a subtle vanilla smoothness, and bourbon refill casks offer brown sugar sweetness. The result is a smoother, richer and smoother taste.
Grant’s Triple Wood, formerly Grant’s Family Reserve, has a complex, clean aroma of ripe pears and summer fruits. The taste nicely balances vanilla sweetness, malt and light, floral notes. The aftertaste is long and sweet with a subtle hint of smoke.

GRANT’S
In 1887 William Grant opened a distillery in Scotland with the help of his seven sons and two daughters. Five generations later, it is still family-owned, making the company the oldest family-run Scottish producer of blended whisky.
The Grant family have in many ways been pioneers in marketing and building worldwide interest in Scotch whisky. Grant’s was the first whiskey to be marketed with television commercials. In 1957, the triangular bottle, which has become a modern style icon in the spirits world, was created. It was designed by the famous designer Hans Schleger, who also designed the iconic London Underground.
