This rum is a reproduction STC♥E mark from the Cambridge distillery, located in Trelawny Parish and closed in 1947. This was distilled at Long Pond in 2010. The Continental Flavored style is one of the four classifications used in Jamaica, which identifies rums with 550 – 1600 gr/hlpa esters at the time of distillation. STC♥E-mark is the abbreviation of Simon Thompson Cambridge Estate and refers specifically to rums with 550 – 700 gr/hlpa. After 12 years of storage, fully in the tropical climate, Angel’s Share is > 55%. Only 4900 bottles produced and bottled at 57% vol.

Color: Dark.
Smell: A rich and well-developed scent with aromas of ripe banana, salted butter caramel and beeswax.
Taste: Rich and creamy, but dry. Notes of toffee, walnut, pineapple and persimmon. A long and intoxicating finish with hints of crème brulée, tar and camphor.

Serving suggestion: Should be enjoyed neat.

The National Rums of Jamaica LTD is a rum producing and exporting company jointly owned by the Government of Jamaica, West Indies Rum Distillery Ltd. in Barbados and Demerara Distillers in Guyana. It consists of Long Pond Distillery and Clarendon Distillery. The Long Pond Distillery manages the raw materials and the fermentation process and is now responsible for reproducing marcs previously made by other distilleries that have now closed.
