Montaudon Demi-Sec 75 CL

Classic Champgane de France

This semi-dry champagne is produced from the classic champagne grapes, Pinot Noir, Petit Meunier and Chardonnay. In the glass it has a very light golden color and a nice mousse. The aroma is dense with pear, lemon and banana as well as some notes of cardamom, and the taste of creamy fruit pleases the taste buds with discreet notes of grapefruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly soft. Enjoy this champagne at 7-9°C on any festive occasion, as an aperitif or with e.g. salads and starters.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

The Montaudon family began working with champagne in 1891, when Auguste-Louis, cellar master in Epernay, produced the first champagne under his own name. Today, Montaudon is linked to the House of Jacquart, which has deep roots in the hilly landscape of the Champagne district. Here, 1,800 wine farmers cultivate 2,400 ha of vineyards, and it is the grapes from here that end up as Jacquart/Montaudon champagne.
