From the first nose, the aroma paint reveals in this 2021 version of Hampden Great House generously wonderfully exquisite fruity, chocolate and mentholaroma. Refreshed by infusions of aromatic plants, it dwells on more candied notes. The taste palette is so medical, comb icing and intensely spicy, and highlights above all the particularly rich and intoxicating flower tones.

Nose: refined, characterized. The amazing first nose is characterized by juicy notes of cane sugar, juicy pineapple, cocoa beans and white mint. Allowed to breathe, these are nourished by Acacia and Lime Blossom Honey, Aromatic Plants (Verbena, Sage) and Candied Citrus Fruit (Lemon, Grapefruit). In a climax, nutmeg and coconut milk form an exquisite duo. Superb!
Palate: tight, lively. The attack is closely linked to the nose and demonstrates rare precision in his recreation of pineapple, coconut milk and Verbena notes. In the middle of palate, vetiver, rosemary and salty coat a particularly appetizing cane sugar. The honey end of the palate (Acacia, Geranium) becomes gradually more and more medical (ointment, mustard poultice), Kamforese and spicy (star anisle, fat).
Overall: long, fixed. Staying united with the palate, the start of the Finish is medically (iodine tincture) and musky. With incredible finesse, it reveals sweet pastry (sweet pancakes), which vetiver and lime blossom floods the end of the finish. On the retro-nasal Olfaction, this flower sequence gives room for noses of coriander, lime and honeysuckle. The highly concentrated empty glass evokes sugar cane, cane sugar, pipe syrup and delicate caramelized molasses.
