Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt is the perfect example of the light and elegant style, the distillery is known and loved for. Unlike the sister griller, Yoichi, Miyagikyo is made on completely flavored malt, and a large part of the whiskey is stored on sherry fade, giving depth and full notes of dried fruit, chocolate and spices. The whiskey is tapped at 45% alcohol.
Color: Golden.
Fragrance: Apples, caramel, apricot, as well as cocoa powder and beeswax.
Taste notes: File notes of spices, coconut and chocolate.
Serving suggestions: should be enjoyed clean, possibly. with a drop of water.
