The handpicked grapes for this wine come from selected vineyards and are only harvested at the beginning of October, which gives a high alcohol percentage and the characteristic taste impressions of ripe fruit, plum and raisin. The wine has pleasant notes of spices and a hint of vanilla. An excellent representative of Veneto with a deep intense dark purple color, good structure and nice balance between soft tannins and acidity.
Gran Verosso is excellent with all roasted and grilled meats and game dishes. Excellent for mature hard cheeses.
