Glenfarclas 25 Years 70 cl. 43%
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Dark amber. Delicately fragrance of sweet smoke, orange marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts, added notes of stored wood. Beautiful and robust taste with great body and fine notes of sweet smoke and nuts. Fine balance between the sherry fades and the alcohol. Intense, long aftertaste that is dry, painted, nutty and slightly smoked. Dark chocolate caresses the rear part of your mouth and leaves you with a long aftertaste.

Dark, spicy notes in the smell. You immediately sense a serious and older whiskey with lots of vanilla, tobacco, toffee, jam and spices. Beautiful balance and very large length.

Glenarclas is one of the few remaining Scottish distilleries that are still in family travel. The distillery retrieves the water, which is used in the distillation, in a small source embroying from the borrinnes. Precisely the combination of the very clean, soft water and the unique shape on the potstills contributes to GlenarClas’s unique style. Jim Murray writes in Lademann’s whiskey book on GlenarClas: “I hope their name when far and wide – their malt should be experienced by anyone seeking liquid beauty.” Glenarclas 25 Years, in our opinion, is the best sherrylagen whiskey for the price. It is fully in line with some of the world’s best whiskies that are both older and cost up to ten times more.
