Compass Box Glasgow Blend is a Scottish blended whiskey created by the famous whiskey maker, John Glaser. It is said that people in Glasgow prefer a stronger, fuller and possibly more smoky whiskey than they do in most other places in Scotland, and so this blend is made with 18% Laphroaig and 34% sherry cask-aged Aberlour to give smoke and depth to the otherwise light grain whiskey from Cameronbridge (35%). The remaining 13% is Highland whiskey from i.a. Clynelish.
Colour: Golden.
Aroma: Peach, vanilla, leather and faint notes of campfire ash.
Tasting notes: Medium-bodied, with honey, peat, popcorn and cinnamon.
Serving suggestions: Can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails.
