Part of a series of drainage from Acceshi dedicated to Japan’s 24 Solar Terms. Each release will explore the effects that local climate, wildlife and agriculture have on the final product.
Boshu (Sowing of the Grain) has been distilled by peat barley and has been ripened in a combination of ex-bourbon, wine, mizunara and sherry tree before they were married.
About 9,000 bottles were released.
Nose: Vanilla fertilizer combined with some bonfire, drying taste: citrusic acid, some tropical fruits, caramelsets along with bonfire. Exit: slightly salty, with some cocoa bits kind of bitterness.
