The GlenAllachie 15 Years is a captivating and richly layered single malt whisky from the heart of Speyside. Masterfully crafted under the guidance of legendary whisky blender Billy Walker, this expression has quickly become a flagship in GlenAllachie’s core range.

Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky undergoes a lengthy secondary maturation in a mix of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads from Spain. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, it’s designed to deliver the whisky in its purest form.

In the glass, it shows a deep mahogany hue. The nose is rich and inviting, bursting with notes of dark cherries, toffee, golden syrup, figs, and roasted hazelnuts. Underneath, you’ll find hints of leather, orange zest, and subtle spice.

On the palate, it’s indulgently full-bodied. Expect layers of stewed plums, dark chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon, espresso, and baking spices. A delicate ginger warmth and gentle oak bring balance to the sweet sherry notes, while the mouthfeel is oily and luxurious.

The finish is long and warming, echoing dried fruits, cocoa, nutty undertones, and soft oak spices.
