Planteray XO 20th Anniversary is a luxurious and refined expression, created to celebrate 20 years of Alexandre Gabriel’s leadership at Maison Ferrand. This exceptional Barbados rum is distilled using both pot and column stills and is aged between 8 and 15 years in bourbon casks in the Caribbean.

After the tropical aging, the rum is transported to France for a second maturation in French oak barrels that previously held cognac. This double aging process gives the rum its rich depth, silky texture, and complex character.

On the nose, it offers generous aromas of vanilla, toasted coconut, ripe banana, mango, and hints of dried fruit, cinnamon, and cocoa.

On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with a pronounced natural sweetness. Notes of toffee, caramelized sugar, banana, coconut, and milk chocolate blend harmoniously with light oak and spice. The sweetness is enhanced by a dosage of approximately 20 g of sugar per liter, contributing to its round and mellow profile.

The finish is long and warming, with lingering impressions of spice, orange peel, vanilla, and roasted wood.
