C. A. Olesen was one of the founders of the Danish alcohol factories and has laid name for a street in Aalborg. The new golden aquavite, which he launched in 1913, on the other hand, was not named after him. It was named Aalborg Export aquavit.
Aalborg Export Aquavit is made on distillate of the complex and rounded with Sherry. It has a round, nuanced taste, because the aroma from the complex is supplemented with shades of prird and orange.
Aalborg Export Akvavit fits largely for all food. But maybe extra good for fried fish, meat with slightly smoked taste, hamburging or a classic hen’s salad.
