Løitens Aquavit *** 70 CL 40%

Norwegian Aquavit

The Løiten Aquavit is a classic, Norwegian lunch accravite, which is characterized by distinct notes of the coming and citrus and a fine balance. At the end a hint of anise and a sneak of sweetness, which comes from the approximately 6 months on oak barrels, where the aquavite lies and ripen before the bottling.

Color: Light golden.
Fragrance: Elegant scent of complex, lemon and orange peel.
Taste notes: soft and balanced taste with the coming in the center and a hint of anise.

Serving suggestions: The obvious accompaniment to the Danish (or Norwegian) lunch table. Enjoy it easily cooled, but not necessarily ice-cold.

Løken Burneri was founded in 1855 as a cooperative, where the peasants in the Norwegian municipality increases could distill. Some years later, the Løiten Burner’s distillation in Oslo opened, where the raw prime was added to the taste of various spices and herbs, and it is mostly the same recipes that were developed at the time in use today.
