Scanavino – ASTI D.O.C.G. Dolce 75 cl.

The ‘genuine product’ with the prestigious DOCG denomination, which, in addition to guaranteeing the origin of the product, is also only given to the area wines that have a tradition of delivering top quality wine. Only the finest muscat/moscato variety may be used here, namely moscato bianco (muscat blanc á petit grains), which is fermented in a pressure tank giving much better bubbles than if the carbonation had been added, as you see in the cheapest imitations. Asti spumante has a higher pressure than its other family member, moscato d’asti, which is only lightly sparkling. Therefore, asti spumante is then also bottled in a champagne (type!) bottle to be able to withstand the pressure of approx. 3.5 bar, which the wine holds after bottling.

Scanavino Asti Spumante has a lingering nutmeg aroma with golden citrus fruit, especially bergamot, held in a sweet, floral style that is balanced by a good freshness from tartaric and carbonic acid.

The highly aromatic wine is particularly useful as a versatile dessert wine, but is also a preferred weapon for wreath cake, student parties and romantic moments.
