Outerbound Pinot noir has aromas of raspberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant. The taste reveals vanilla and Herbes-de-Provence spices, which are finished by elegant tannins.

Manufacturing
One of the oldest Piinot Noir fields in the Russian River Valley is the Marcucci vineyard. Here, clone 115 is grown exclusively on east-facing slopes. The Pinot Noir grapes from Marcucci’s vineyards grow in small, concentrated bunches, which gives a powerful taste and a unique structure in the glass.
With its location on the western slopes of the Mayacama mountains, the fields benefit from temperature changes due to the influence of the sea. Harvesting takes place in the night hours under the personal supervision of owner Kris Hicks.

Michael David Winery farms with respect for future generations and has implemented some of the most progressive and sustainable farming practices in California. The family grows wine on 300 ha and, starting with the 2011 vintage, all Lodi grapes from Michael David Winery are certified sustainable.
