Blackberries with a Tickle of Vanilla
Food Owl Gin – Blackberries is a ginliner with light sweetness that makes any dark season a little brighter and friendly. The smell of full-fashion blackberry and vanilla is clearly sensed when poured up, while the well-known taste of juniper and coriander makes the taste complex and inviting with citrus and gentle pepper at the bottom.
Our blackberry-gin is made of mature berries from North Zealand’s gardens, skel and forestry, and can be enjoyed as aperitif with an ice clump, as a potent “desert wine” (eg for rice a la husband at Christmas time) or with a fresh tonic without everything too much bitterness.

General about food Owl Gin
Food Owl Gin is a tribute to the owl, which used to stay in the ceiling in our building, but which has now moved in the neighboring city because we noisy too much. Sorry!
We distill the gin in a traditional way with herbs directly in the copper boiler and in the herburve, which is mounted on the Swaneck. The result is a number of tasty and very characteristic ginvarians who are evident in their profile and easy to mix.
All our food Owl Gin is distilled on our distillery in Kagerup in North Zealand and is based on organic grain prit.
