KAH Tequila Blanco 70 cl. 40%

KAH Tequila is a series of tequilas designed to showcase the ancient traditions associated with “Dia de Muertos” (Day of the Dead) and South American heritage. KAH means life in the ancient Mayan language.
KAH Tequila Blanco appears sweet at first, but the sweet taste is quickly followed by peppery spices. The tequila is silky smooth and delicate and leaves a variety of spices on the palate.
This bottle represents a particularly macabre Bolivian tradition of the “Day of the Dead” celebration. Real skulls from close relations are kept and taken out on November 8 each year. The skull is taken to the cemetery, fed and given cigarettes and tequila. The Bolivians believe that this act immortalizes the dead, which in turn helps protect the living from evil spirits.
