This iconic licorice liqueur was created in 1993 by the Danish company Strandgaarden Wines & Spirits. The licorice flavor comes from the classic Finnish salmiak caramel Turkish pepper (Turkish pepper), which has had a loyal consumer base since the 70s. The Turkish pepper marries vodka, with an alcohol content of 32%. Best served as a chilled shot. The bottle’s eye-catching design has the same colors as from the beginning and alludes to its origins from both the Turkish pepper caramels and the 90s era.
