Capionium produces mulled wine according to an old “pharmacist’s recipe”, which the pharmacist Daniel Capion happily stumbled upon. With a few individual tweaks, the recipe has come to form the framework for what is perhaps the world’s best ready-mixed mulled wine. It simply needs to be heated to 65 degrees and served with almond slivers as desired. The recipe is of course a well-guarded secret, and the only thing Daniel Capion will reveal is that it contains large amounts of good port wine, berry juice and neutral spirits. It’s Christmas cheer in a bottle like no other!

Capionium, also known as Pharmaceutglöggen or Frederiksbergglöggen, dates back to 1999.
As a newly qualified pharmacist, the founder found an old recipe for a pharmacy prescription. It was obvious that family and friends would become both subjects and critics.
The reviews turned out to be extremely positive. Apparently, a mulled original like no other had been created.
As time went on, the caponium gathering developed into an annual tradition that frames quality time with friends and family – and still is.
