Jim’s taste notes: “The nose screams of sharp rye character over a complex layer of corn, citrus and oak – really exciting. The taste is formidable with a soft, oiled sense in the mouth where the maize absorbs tingling rye and spices. The aftertaste is sweet, still oiled as a cream caramel. Rye Titter again and struggle to the last of the corn. I simply adore this whiskey, the balance is perfect between corn and oak, but also the bitter and cute there is harmony in between. The rye content adds great color and complexity. One of the world whiskey jewels! “
