Becker Pinot Blanc Nature – ECO 75 cl.

Wine Nature – Alsace

This Pinot Blanc is another extension of Domaine Jean Becker’s range of genuine natural wines. Produced completely without the addition of sulphur. It gives an intense and open fruitiness and juiciness which is hard not to like, here interpreted by the variety Pinot Blanc, which with its milder acidity than Riesling gives a rounder and very welcoming white wine.

Colour: Straw yellow.
Aroma: Apple, pear, citrus and lime, morels, a little peach, white flowers and fresh grapes.
Tasting notes: Medium-bodied, dry and fresh with apple, pear, stone fruit and almost some freshly pressed grape juice.

Serving suggestion: Enjoy it chilled with dishes with fish or poultry.

Domaine Jean Becker is an old family-owned winery in Alsace with roots dating back to 1610. Since 1999, they have grown organic wine in their vineyards and have therefore only offered organic wine since 2001. Siblings Martine, Phillipe and Francois Becker, who run the house today, stay together with the rest of the company in Zellenberg in Alsace and most of the wines are made from the classic Alsatian white wine grapes: Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, etc. but the family also makes individual red wines from Pinot Noir. Becker also grows wine on several of the very large Grand Cru fields, including: Froehn, Schoenenbourg, Mandelberg and Sonnenglantz.
