Ballechin 17 Years 2005 Vintage Burgundy Casks 70 cl. 55%

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A peated version of Edradour, this Ballechin has matured for 17 years in Burgundy casks before being bottled at its natural strength. With its beautiful amber hue, this single malt boasts a delicate smoky profile where the influence of the wine cask (red fruits, chocolate, and salted butter) harmoniously blends with the smoky notes of the whisky.

The Edradour distillery is renowned for the unique style of its single malt, which is exported worldwide. Andrew Symington, the distillery’s owner, has embarked on various, increasingly original special finishes (Burgundy, Chardonnay, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Madeira, Moscatel, Port, Sassicaia, Tokaji, and more), constantly refreshing the distillery’s style.
