Amrut Double Cask is an Indian Single Malt Whiskey, which is stored on two different dish types. This edition is composed of one bourbon dish and one Pedro Ximenez-Sherryfad who was tapped in August 2016 after 6-7 years of storage (whiskey from the Bourbon dish was a little older than that from the Sherryfadet). The alcohol percentage is 46, and no caramel color or cooling filtration has been added.
Color: deep amber.
Fragrance: Full and sweet. Notes of prunes, yellow raisins, chocolates and banana.
Taste notes: Sherry has rounded the whiskey handsome. The taste is fruity and reminiscent of mango, pineapple, vanilla and brown sugar with a hint of prune again.
