Aperitivo Bitter Orange
Aperitivo comes from the French word aperitif which has the same meaning as appetizer. An aperitivo is therefore often served as a welcome drink.
The producer, Perlino, was founded in 1905 and is based in Asti, in the middle of the classic Piedmont wine region. The area is not only known for some of the world’s finest red wines and the sparkling Asti wine, but here there is also a long tradition of aromatized wine, so-called aperitifs.
Villa Cardea has clear aromas of lemon, blood orange, clove and orange, and the taste finishes with an appetizing light bitterness. Served as a classic “spritz”, i.e. mixed with Prosecco and is also good to drink as is with a cube of ice or mixed with orange juice.
