Patridom XO Limited Edition is based on Patridom XO, which is a premium rum made from fresh sugar cane juice and molasses. Patridom XO is aged in a tropical climate in American and French oak barrels in the Dominican Republic. This Limited Edition version with Cognac Cask Finish has also undergone an additional aging in ex-Cognacfade, which adds a fruity note to the rum. Patridom XO Cognac Cask Finish has been bottled in July 2023 with a result of 2333 bottles.
Scent: With notes of wine, sweet fruits and hints of cinnamon and apricots.
Taste: To start with you get sweet wine, fresh fruit followed by a hint of vanilla and a spicy finish.
DOMINICAN HERITAGE
Patridom is a compound word from the Spanish “patrimonio” and “dominicano”, meaning Dominican heritage. The series consists of four standard bottlings, which are fermented, distilled and matured in the Dominican Republic. The rum is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, who grow their own sugar cane and ensure that the rum consists of crops exclusively from the Dominican Republic. Alcohols Finos Dominicanos is the largest producer of alcohol in the Dominican Republic, thus the company plays a significant role in the community and provides work for hundreds of locals.
