Our Harvest Mead is a fruity cherry mead that tastes and smells more like jam or berry compote than pure cherries. It is refreshing with its notes of various red berries, which give it a fresh, tart character – like a pleasant, thirst-quenching drink. The fruity nuances mask the heavy honey flavor in the mead, and the characteristic bitterness from the cherry pits is only faintly noticeable in the aftertaste.

Harvest Mead is fruity and refreshing, tasting and smelling more like jam or berry compote. It’s more a blend of various red berries than pure cherries, which gives it a fresh, tart character, making it very pleasant to drink on its own. The fruity flavor hides the heavy honey taste of the mead, and the characteristic bitterness from cherries is only faintly noticeable in the aftertaste. Barrel aging gives it a unique finish, elevating this mead to something truly special that stands out from most other meads.

Serving Suggestions:
Cherry mead is a sweet mead but excels as a particularly drinkable and refreshing mead, and is among the best to enjoy on its own. For food pairing, we suggest serving it with light, fruit-based desserts such as berry compote, rhubarb trifle, or raspberry tart, and it is excellent with risalamande. Its light bitter notes allow it to pair with chocolate, though it can easily be overpowered by very dark and bitter chocolate. It also pairs well with light cheeses, such as smoked cheese.
