Le Nar is a fusion of the East and the Mediterranean – and it’s a vermouth that we’ve never tasted like before!
The base is wine from Colombard and Trebbiano Bianco, which is flavored especially with pomegranate blossom from Uzbekistan. This is where the name comes from: “nar” means pomegranate in Turkish. It also contains black lime from Iran, which gives an almost slightly smoky note, of course wormwood (which is in almost all vermouth), thyme, blackcurrant, chamomile and bay leaf. All the ingredients are of course natural.
Colour: Deep brown.
Aroma: Super complex aroma with deep, spicy, smoky and citrusy aromas.
Tasting notes: Perfect balance between sweetness, bitterness, acidity and fruit. Quite unique and with a long, satisfying aftertaste.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy it over ice or in cocktails. For example, may we recommend a negroni?
