Braastad Cognac X.O 70 cl. 40%

Braastad XO is mixed by the best cognacs from Grand and Petite Champagne, and at least 50% is from Grand Champagne. It is a nice cognac with a complex aroma that develops gradually with a sustained scent of mature fruits and flowers, and a clue of walnut. The taste is among other things. Embossed by walnut and it has a long aftertaste that finely rounding out the taste of fruit.

The Cognac district is divided into 6 areas: Bois Ordinaires and Bons Bois are in the absolute outer zone. Closer to the main city is fine Bois and Borderies, and around the city of Ségonzac we find the last two areas, Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne. In total, the district covers 1,132,500 ha, of which 80,000 are mainly planted with Ugni Blanc. Each of the areas mentioned gives its properties, but it is in Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne to search if you want to know why Cognac is the world’s best brandy. It does not matter what base wine you use when distilling cognac. The wine is reduced during the process, and only the right basis wines can produce and reinforce the best base properties.
