BEYOND BIG! is a super harmonious, soft and full-bodied wine packed with juicy fruit such as blackberry, cherry and a little vanilla and spice from the oak tree.
Enjoy the wine for e.g. a barbecue, pasta dishes or for a few pieces of delicious dark chocolate.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Manufacturing
The days are warm and the nights cool in the Central Coast. With the moderate temperatures in the area, the grapes ripen slowly, and the fruit in the grapes develops perfectly with plenty of good flavor and nice acidity. The wine has a high intensity, a nice intense color and a lovely fruity character.
Passionate winemakers work with the vineyards to ensure that the grapes used for Beyond Big are of the highest quality. They regularly visit the vineyards to personally taste the grapes before harvest.
The harvest takes place at night to keep the grapes cool and fresh. The must undergoes a maceration for two days before fermentation takes place over 7-10 days together with the grape skins. The wine matures in American and French oak for 9 months. The casks are between 3 and 7 years old, and the wine thereby achieves particularly well-integrated notes from the oak.
CO2 – Environmentally friendly
Transport of wine in bulk from the country of origin to bottling in Denmark constitutes a significantly reduced CO2 load compared to wine imported in bottles. In recognition of the reduced CO2 footprint, but also the assurance of the wine’s quality as well as the economic advantages of transporting wine in bulk, bulk wine forms an ever-increasing part of our business.
