2021 Château Certan de May shows a deep ruby-red colour in the glass. The nose is alluring, with aromas of ripe dark fruit such as plum and blackberry, accompanied by subtle notes of violet, graphite, and a touch of cedar from oak ageing. On the palate, the wine is silky-smooth, with well-integrated tannins and an impressive freshness that reflects the cool vintage.
