Tio Pepe is a dry, elegant and wonderful “Fino” sherry, which is the type designation for a very dry sherry from southern Spain. Dry, delicate and fine taste, with a straw yellow color and an elegant but characteristic floral scent. Should always be served ice cold.

The perfect aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish or shellfish. Tio Pepe is made only from the Palomino grape, grown in very calcareous soil in the best vineyards.

Will be aged in American oak barrels.

The history of Tio Pepe Sherry dates back to 1835, when Manuel Maria Gonzalez, an ambitious 23-year-old, enlisted the help of his uncle José Angel de la Pena, known as Pepe, to produce a sherry and start the company that later became Gonzalez Byass.

Tio Pepe is named after Manuel’s uncle Pepe, tio means uncle in Spanish.
