SOFT, FULL AND PERSISTENT
Silverboom Shiraz-Merlot is a particularly soft and full-bodied wine with lots of South Africa’s sun and warmth in the glass. In the scent there is a multitude of wild berries and licorice as well as a fine hint of spices. In the taste you are met by the same notes as in the fragrance, and here the complex taste impression of pepper and fine firm tannins as well as a long persistent aftertaste are complemented. Silverboom can best be enjoyed now, but can also easily stand up to five years from the harvest year.
Enjoy Silverboom Shiraz-Merlot with red meat, spicy food, medium-strength cheeses or with a really good burger.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Manufacturing
Dedicated and specialist winemakers have carefully selected the Shiraz and Merlot grapes for this wonderful and powerful wine. The grapes are harvested at optimum maturity to ensure a wine with plenty of juice, intensity and power. Silverboom is fermented up to an alcohol percentage of 15%. The fermentation is then stopped to obtain a wine that shows a nice balance between concentration in the taste and a fine sweetness at the end.
CO2 – Environmentally friendly

In recognition of the reduced CO2 footprint, but also the assurance of the wine’s quality as well as the economic advantages of transporting wine in bulk, bulk wine forms an ever-increasing part of our business.
