Polignac XO Royal is a mix of Eaux-de-vie from the best areas with a minimum age of 25 years.
This means that there really is juice and power in this cognac. The Royal name has it got – partly because it is served in the royal house and partly because the taste and smell nearest is Nobel.
The scent starts out with lots of oak, ranchio and chocolate.
The tastes count blah. Caramelized citrus fruits, vanilla, oak, coffee and spices and everything ends out in a long and complex aftertaste.
A beautifully presented and delicious XO Cognac from the regal Prince Hubert de Polignac house.
A blend of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, the spirit has been aged for at least ten years in French oak casks.
The final product is a spicy, fruity Cognac with notes of almond, gingerbread, vanilla, potpourri, vanilla, citrus rind, sandalwood, pineapple and toffee.
