Père Magloire has been distilling calvados and perfecting the process since 1821. They produce authentic and generous calvados that have won competitions worldwide.
The cornerstone of this fine calvados consists of cider from apples picked in the Pays d’Auge region in the middle of Normandy. Père Magloire Fine VS is a fresh and fruity calvados. It is distilled once in copper stills to concentrate the apple aromas. These are then highlighted by blending the fruitiest cuvées and aging them in casks made from centuries-old oak.
The color is golden yellow in the glass. The aroma exudes fresh apples, sweet applesauce and sweet cider. Green apples, apple sugar and vanilla are noticeable in the mouth. The final contains plenty of freshly squeezed applesauce. Enjoy neat, with ice cubes or in cocktails.
