Original Dr. Nielsen Bitter is an extraction of eight different herbs, among other things. Pomerans and star anise. It is characterized by a gentle, characterful and comfortable taste and a refined, perfectly aligned aftertaste. This unique taste reflects all the herbs used.

It can be enjoyed at room temperature as a warming dram in cold weather or simply with a beer.

Dr. Nielsen was an avid hunter and outdoor machinery, which until 1937 lived in a side wing to Hobro pharmacy, where he, together with his good friends, pharmacies family, put a lot of work in finding “the right bitter”. Many evenings were used before it a day in the otherwise dark 30s lighted – a versatile bitter with many applications was found! In 1988, Dr. Nielsen’s family recipe further and let Johs. M.
