Mosgaard Whisky – Port Wine Cask (ECO) 50 cl. 49%

Mosgaard Port Wine Cask Whiskey is manufactured in organic Danish barley malt, which is Maltes after our specifications and brewed by own methods optimized to produce sweetness, softness and fruit notes – the taste of Funen Single Malt Whiskey.

We have been waiting for longing in order to present our Port Wine Cask which is probably the only whiskey in the world stored exactly like this. We have been rebuilt old portpin dish for our small 50 liter dishes, and in the dishes we have mixed spells from Ruby Fade and Tawny Fade. This means that we get a balance of the vinous from Ruby and the more seasoned sweetness from Tawny and thus could store the whiskey throughout the period of Portvinsfade – it has been an experiment that we must say fully has succeeded.
