In the glass, Henri Ehrhart Gewürztraminer appears full-bodied and sumptuous with typical Gewürztraminer character. The bouquet is intense and complex with a firework of exotic fruits (lychee and passion fruit), flowers, citrus and a bit of pepper. The aroma of ripe fruit gives the wine an unrivaled full-bodied appearance.
Henri Ehrhart Gewürztraminer is served at 8°C for almost any occasion, with duck terrine, foie gras or with exotic – slightly spicy – curry or tandoori dishes. Also enjoy the wine with desserts, fruit tarts, cake or with blue cheese.

Henri Ehrhart Gewürztraminer is made from the aromatic grape of the same name. The white wine grape thrives best in cool climates such as here in Alsace.

Maison Henri Ehrhart: In the 70s, Henri Ehrhart bought 4 hectares of vineyards around the small picturesque town of Ammerschwihr approx. 8 km. west of Colmar – the “capital” of Alsatian wines. Over the years, the family company has grown to be the fifth largest producer of Alsatian wines with 7 million bottles annually, and the company is today run by son Cyrille Ehrhart.
With their own winery and bottling plant in Ammerschwihr and with the very latest technology, the Ehrhart family has control over the quality of their wines and can bottle the wines at exactly the right time.
The Ehrhart family has a finger on both the French and international pulse, and the company is adept at adapting to consumers’ tastes in wine.
