Manufacturing
Entrecôte is produced from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon is considered by some to be the “king” of all red grapes. The grape often produces wines with great intensity and notes of a little spice and vanilla. In the Bordeaux area, this grape is thus the backbone of the greatest wines. The grape is often mixed with another grape variety and here it is in a blend with the Merlot grape, which is also a popular grape in France. The Merlot grape adds fullness and softness to the wines.
