BEATS THE DEVIL Shiraz is deep red in color with a bold black core. The aroma features ripe fruit and espresso beans in a fine combination with dark chocolate tones. The taste is well-structured with great fullness, a hint of black olives, and spices from the barrel aging. The wine is harmonious with good intensity and a fine aftertaste. It’s an excellent companion for summer barbecues, dishes with intense flavors, or strong cheeses.

Production
The simple secret behind the delicious BEATS THE DEVIL Shiraz is the raw materials – a combination of extraordinarily good grapes and Mother Nature’s generosity in Victoria. The winemakers have carefully selected the best grapes to provide structure, body, and flavor to this Shiraz. Part of the wine is made using the same method as the Italian favorite Ripasso. The word Ripasso comes from “ripassare”, which means “to pass again”, as the must undergoes a double fermentation on the grape skins, adding color, flavor, and body. Before bottling, part of the wine matures in French and American oak barrels.

Transporting wine in bulk from the country of origin to bottling in Denmark significantly reduces the CO2 footprint compared to importing wine in bottles.
