Established in 1820, the House of Ayala has an incredible history, with a pioneering and visionary personality at the helm, Edmond de AYALA always tried to go the extra mile. The name AYALA comes from the champenois village of Aÿ, where the house has been located since its creation. A pioneer in introducing a drier style, Edmond had the flair to launch “dry champagne” in 1865 at just 21 g/L. A bold statement in favor of purity, in contrast to the traditional French dosage of more than 150 g/L at the time, but it laid the foundation for the Champagne style we know today. Bollinger bought AYALA in 2005, confirming its place in the Champagne Rolodex of stars. Brut Majeur perfectly represents the AYALA style. The Chardonnay reveals all its purity and elegance, enhanced by Pinot Noirs and Meuniers, from the best origins. The fruit of a bespoke blend, Brut Majeur includes more than 65 crus from across the Champagne region. This unique shopping opportunity makes the most of the richness of the terroirs: Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Aube, Vitryat or even Sézannais.
