Old St. Croix Spirit Drinks is a tribute to one of the most enterprising Danes, Albert Heinrich Riise, who successfully ran his pharmacy in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas from 1838 to 1878.
The Thin Blue Line Denmark is a voluntary association with the purpose of supporting current and former police employees who have suffered severe psychological or physical injuries in the line of duty. The association also supports relatives and the bereaved. It was founded following two serious shootings against Danish police officers in 2016, one of which, unfortunately, was fatal. By purchasing a bottle of Blue Thin Line, you support the association.
For every bottle sold, the company behind Old St. Croix donates an amount to the organization.
Nose
Notes of honey and aged leather. The floral character is subdued, instead we find hints of warm winter spices and mild tobacco.
Taste
A remarkable softness unfolds, with a fantastic roundness free of sharp edges. We taste clove, English licorice, and honey as well.
