Sweet and nicely balanced aroma, where flowers and citrus fruit also follow. When you taste, you will experience notes of brown, caramelized sugar and of course some smoky impressions. The aftertaste is pleasantly long and can be enjoyed with small memories of the whiskey’s fine peat smoke.

Nantou Distillery is located in Nantou Hsien in Taiwan and was founded by the Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation in 1978. However, it was not until 2008 that Nantou Distillery produced its first whiskey. Nantou Distillery currently has four stills made by Forsyths in Rothes in Speyside, Scotland. The hot and humid climate in Taiwan means that the famous “Angel’s Share” is around 5% per year
