Tomatin Distillery – A Highland distillery that, back in the 1970s, was Scotland’s largest, with a total of 23 stills in operation. Their motto was “Largest!” In 1984, a struggling Tomatin was purchased by Japanese investors, who embarked on a transformation mission: from “Largest” to “Best!”
Today, Tomatin releases a wide range of whiskies, selling in over 50 international markets – the mission from largest to best is well on its way to success!
Tomatin Cask Strength is a blend of whisky from ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks – the aroma is best described as “breakfast in a glass!”
Released in April 2014, this is the first Cask Strength whisky to be included in Tomatin’s standard range. It showcases Tomatin in its purest form – natural color, non-chill filtered, and undiluted.

Comment
“The softer side of the Highlands” – Cask Strength? It can’t be… but it is! A must-try that leaves you wanting more!
