Pura Vida Pasion is the successor to the rum El Pasador De Oro Pasion.
The spirit in this cuvée remains unchanged; only the rum, which comes from a new terroir, has been altered. The brand El Pasador De Oro, belonging to the company Les Bienheureux, now makes way for Pura Vida, el ron de Costa Rica!
With this change, the goal for this French player in the spirits industry is to become a producer of rum.
Now, the rum comes from an extraordinary estate located in Costa Rica, which is now owned by the French company. With the purchase of this estate, the company controls the entire process. From the harvesting of sugarcane to distillation and aging, all stages are carried out in one place.
For the production of this cuvée, Pura Vida XO is infused with fresh passion fruit. The process remains a secret.

Le Pura Vida – Pasion combines Costa Rican and Charentais expertise in a unique creation. Made from Pura Vida XO rum, aged in bourbon barrels in Costa Rica, it benefits from an infusion of passion fruit in France, in former Cognac barrels. This unique process gives it a rare aromatic richness.
