Paul John – Edited Hint of Peat 70 CL 46%

Indian Single Malt Whisky

The great Indian single malt from the sunny shores at Goa. With many freshwater sources and tropical heat, Goa was the natural choice for where Single Malt should be created. Of course, a full-year tropical climate accelerates the ripening of the whiskey. The angel’s share (evaporation) is about 8% a year. Single malt’s unique flavors, not least due to the intense character of the special barley growing at the foot of Himalaya.

In 2004, Michael d’Souza Master Distiller was at John Distilleries, where the first distillation took place in 2008. In 2012, Paul John was launched in Britain, and has since won countless prices and recognitions around the world.

The whiskeys are not chill-filtered and have Helle no additives (colors or flavor).

Fragrance.

Honey and cocoa, mixed with touches of smoke and a shot of espresso. A deeper snif reveals a fruity note in the nose

Taste

First, grassy tastes come from the building, but there is nice room for the quiet notes of peat and smoke that slowly dissolves and paves the way for Mint and Mocha

Aftertaste

Long and smooth finish. Sensation of spice and mint chocolate. Eventually it ends with with gentle notes of peat

Comment

Edited is for the extraordinary. The sensation for smoke comes from carefully selected dishes. Everything to please the true whiskey fanatic! Hear the sea from Goa tell his own stories – unedited!
