Dailuaine 2008 17 Years 57.2% presents itself as a powerful and distinctly sherry-driven single malt from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of their Cask Strength Collection. Distilled in 2008, matured for 17 years and bottled at 57.2%, it was matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt, creating a rich and concentrated profile in which dark chocolate, dried fruit, nuts and spiced oak meet Dailuaine’s full-bodied distillate. The result is a whisky of notable weight and depth, where the sherry cask influence adds both sweetness and structure without overwhelming the whole, and the finish is long, warming and generously flavourful.
