Try a great, complex and elegant single malt whiskey from Milk & Honey Distillery in Israel. This edition is part of their element series, and is matured on sherry fade of the Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez types.
To create this whiskey, the people behind the distillery raised all the way to Jerez, Spain to select the sherry barrels. The fades, once filled with quality sherry, were subsequently transported to the distillery in Israel, where they developed a wonderful and complex sherry-whiskey.
Milk & Honey Distillery is Israel’s first whiskey distillery. The distiller is located in Tel Aviv and has since 2012 produced Single Malt and Gin under expert guidance from the now deceased Dr. Jim Swan. Their whiskey is the result of first-class “New Make” as well as maturation in the hot and dry climate in Tel Aviv. On the distillery estimates that the whiskey ripens 2-2.5 time faster than in Scotland, just due to the high heat.
