Ichiro´s Malt Double Distilleries 70 CL 46%

Chichibu Distillery – Japanese Pure Malț Whisky

From the cracking Ichiro’s malt range, this is a mixture of whiskey from both Hanyu and Chichibu distilleries. Ichiro’s Malt Double distilleries whiskey was matured in Japanese oak and wet and bottled at Chichibu in 2010. Chichibu is the future, and Hanyu is in the past. Taste it all in this special release of the great Ichiro acuto.

Nose: Honeyful sweetness associated with a basket with mixed fruits – oranges, apples and pears – part fresh and fruit tea-like, part reduced to preserves and mamalades. There are some gentle sherry notes here – chocolate and sugar-coated fruits – but the influence is generally very easy. White pepper and aromatic incense spices sit with malt biscuits. In the background a weak stiffness. The addition was aqueous many of the topnote aromas, reducing the overall definition, but added a mild emergency.

Taste: A solid arrival that delivers spice and fruit – stalk ginger and light chili pepper along with peaches and oranges. Malette is again quite present and supported by waterciks, soil and wooden field (cedar). To lift things are orange sherbet, honey and delicate wood – a little oak, but again with the more aromatic cedar. In the rear, mynt and menthol touch. Water had a more positive effect than on the nose, increased pepper, added a touch of salt and produced some steel minerality.

Finish: medium in length and relatively woody – oak, tannins and baking directions.
