FULL AND FRUITFUL
Grande Alberone Platinum Collection Zinfandel appears dramatically deep red in the glass with violet markings. The bouquet is fruity with distinct notes of ripe fruit and cherries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a pleasant persistent aftertaste.
Serve the wine with dishes from Italian cuisine, e.g. pasta dishes or with red meat or cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Manufacturing
After an extended maceration of the skins to achieve a clearer color and a round structure, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This preserves the fruit in the wine. Part of the wine matures in barrels.
