For me, Pinot Noir is the grape you always return to when you want a red wine with both charm and finesse. It can be juicy and berry-driven, silky and elegant, but also surprisingly flavourful when it comes from slightly warmer sites. In Pinot Noir Hverdagsfavoritter, you therefore get a case that shows the grape’s range in a very approachable and enjoyable way – from California and Chile to Alsace, Languedoc, Alto Adige, and South Africa. These are wines that work just as well with dinner as they do on their own, and they keep reminding you why Pinot Noir is one of the most loved grapes in the wine world.
A soft and generous Pinot Noir with plenty of juicy fruit and an approachable, silky style. The flavour profile leans toward cherries, raspberries, and sun-ripened red fruit, with soft ripe tannins and a rounded finish that makes the wine easy to enjoy. It pairs beautifully with game birds, white meat, grilled dishes, and mild cheeses. The wine is made from Pinot Noir grown in selected Californian vineyards, where the grapes are handled gently after harvest to preserve fruit, softness, and elegance.
An elegant yet flavourful Pinot Noir with clear red fruit, fine harmony, and silky tannins. Here you get a classic, lightly spiced, berry-driven style that feels both food-friendly and easy to enjoy. It pairs well with lamb, veal, marinated pork, charcuterie, and rustic dishes where you want a red wine with freshness and a soft structure. It is made from Pinot Noir grown in Henri Ehrhart’s own vineyards in Alsace, where the family has full control over both cultivation and bottling.
A fresh and elegant Pinot Noir with red and dark berries, cherries, subtle spice, and fine notes of caramel, pastry, and sweet spice from oak ageing. On the palate, it is juicy and lively, with bright acidity, elegant tannins, and a long, clean finish. It pairs very well with white meat, oily fish, mild cheeses, pasta with light sauces, and mushroom dishes. The wine is produced in Aconcagua and aged for seven months in French and American oak, with a small proportion of new barrels, adding extra depth without overpowering the fruit.
A crowd-pleasing and charming Pinot Noir with a pure nose of black cherries and raspberries, juicy red berry fruit, and a silky finish. The style is soft, medium-bodied, and approachable, with just the right amount of roundness to make the wine both generous and easy-drinking. It works beautifully with duck breast, pasta, charcuterie, bacon, and mild cheeses, and it can happily be served slightly chilled. The grapes come from sunny, coastal vineyards in Languedoc, and the wine gains a subtle oak touch through the use of oak staves in stainless steel before bottling.
This is a more serious and polished wine with classic Pinot Noir character and clear alpine freshness. The palate offers sweet-sour cherries, raspberries, and lively acidity that gives the wine energy, while the velvety texture creates an elegant and long finish. It pairs very well with Italian dishes, veal, poultry, and other meat dishes where you want a wine with both freshness and precision. The grapes come from the three cru sites of Girlan, Mazon, and Pinzon in Alto Adige, are hand-harvested, fermented for 18–20 days in stainless steel, and then aged for 12 months in large oak casks followed by 6 months in bottle.
A modern and highly charming South African Pinot Noir with ripe raspberry and strawberry fruit, a touch of vanilla, and fine notes of minerality and earth beneath the pure fruit. The style is fresh, medium-bodied, and light on its feet, yet with enough complexity to feel genuinely interesting in the glass. This is a wine that pairs beautifully with duck, mushroom dishes, pork, and poultry. The wine is made from hand-sorted grapes from Stellenbosch, with a small proportion of whole bunches in the fermentation, two weeks of skin contact, and then ageing in older large oak casks and French oak barrels, adding structure without losing the wine’s elegant fruit.
